Apple VS Samsung, no amicable agreement: we're off to trial

As for
every trial in the USA, the two opposing parties are required first to
seek an amicable agreement. Representatives of Apple and Samsung,
respectively Tim Cook himself and Korean CEO Choi Gee-sung,
found for two days and finally reached no agreement,
each party having remained firmly on its positions.

The trial should therefore begin during the month of June. A little reminder of
facts :

To summarize in broad terms, Apple attacked Samsung for having
plagiarized the iPhone and iPad in its production of smartphones and tablets. Of
On this side, Apple should not have too much difficulty making itself heard since
the telephone market has completely changed with the appearance of
l’iPhone.

On the other hand, Samsung also attacks Apple for the use of networks
wireless in its devices, which would be the intellectual property of the
Korean firm. If Samsung ever managed to make the
courts, other manufacturers of smartphones and mobile devices
could be affected by this decision more or less directly.

In any case, it's a big soap opera that's coming and which will last
certainly over several years. Get out the popcorns, there's going to be some
spectacle and twists and turns, for sure!

As a reminder, Apple has already obtained a ban on the sale of Samsung
Galaxy S2 in several countries and even caused a redesign of the tablet
Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Germany.
