Apple has already made an appointment with the whole world for September 9. Contrary to its usual habits, it is on a Monday evening (7 p.m. French time) that the Cupertino company will unveil its next iPhones. At the heart of all the rumors for months, the iPhone 16 should therefore arrive next Monday during a presentation which promises to be very dense.
Indeed, as the journalist from the Bloomberg press agency, Mark Gurman, reminds us, the iPhone 16 will not be the only stars of the evening. Far from it. The apple brand should notably presentnew Apple Watch. In addition to accessorizing our watches,Apple could add new devices to our ears.
AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 3 are expected to be presented next week. In addition to these modifications to the headphones, Apple could return to the forefront with a 4-year-old project:l’AirPods Max. Launched in 2020 just before the end-of-year holidays, Apple's premium (and very expensive) headset has never been updated since.
AirPods Max 2.0: USB-C and that's it?
The AirPods Max should therefore be entitled to a second version in the coming days. But still according to information from Mark Gurman, we should not expect any upheaval. The main new feature of this version 2.0 would be the arrival of a USB-C charging port instead of a Lightning connection which is starting to age very badly.
Be careful though, recent reports, published by Gurman in particular, explain that the AirPods could take a little longer than expected. Indeed, the Cupertino company could decide to launch AirPods, in particular the AirPods Pro 3 only next year, during its spring conference, historically dedicated to iPads and accessories.
We will therefore have to see next Monday ifthe AirPods Max 2.0 is here. If not, the USB-C version of this headset that we all already know very well should arrive next spring.
