Apple has “no concrete plans” for Airpods Max in the coming years

Apple's AirPods Max was released in 2020, since then it has only been updated once, a few weeks ago. More than slight modifications, disappointing even in the eyes of many observers. For good reason, Apple has only added a USB-C charging port, instead of a Lightning connection whichwas no longer welcome in Europe.

No edits and no ideas

Even more serious, Apple does not seem to have any ideas for modifying its headphones in the coming years. The Cupertino company could indeed review the design or even change certain components, butit’s not in “his plans”in the words of journalist and Apple specialist Mark Gurman.

In his latest report on the subject, the author of the “Power On” newsletter explains that Apple has no idea of ​​the future development of its AirPods Max. Headphones seem doomed to keep the same shape, over and over again. Only the color change, provided in addition to USB-Cat the beginning of last September, will try to make us forget the lack of innovation in this helmet.

Could Apple already signal the end of the story for its headphones?
