Payment by Apple Pay is now available in Belgium

After launching in 2014, Apple Pay, Apple's mobile payment solution, is gradually arriving in other countries. This is happening more or less quickly in several countries, because some banks are reluctant to adopt Apple's solution, despite strong demand from their customers.

In France, Apple Pay isarrived in 2016with fairly slow adoption from different banks. Recently, Crédit du Nord joinedthe list of compatible French bankswith Apple Pay. And now it's the turn ofour Belgian neighbors to be able to use Apple Pay.

Apple Pay is availablesince this morningin Belgium.

The Apple Pay page is available on theBelgian Apple website. But she indicates that for the moment, the only Belgian banking establishment to support payment by iPhone and Apple Watch is BNP Paribas Fortis and its various services.

There is no doubt that other banks should follow suit in the coming weeks and months, as is the case in other countries... But it sometimes takes a very long time.
