Apple Pay: now available at Credit du Nord and soon for HSBC customers

Beginning of last year,a report from the newspaper Les Echos, affirmed that HSBC France would offer Apple Pay to its customers within the year. Unfortunately HSBC has still not joinedthe list of compatible French bankswith Apple Pay, but there's something new!

Indeed, Apple has just updatedits French site, the list of compatible banks and services, with two new additions in the “shortly“,HSBC et Apetiz. PourNorthern Credit, it is nowa reality, Apple Pay is available.

For Credit du Nord, the news was confirmed this morning by the bank's official Twitter account. Users can finally use Apple Pay to pay for their purchases.

The mention of HSBC and Apetiz in the “Coming soon” section does not mean that this will happen by the end of the year, but thatHSBC is working on adding this featurefor its customers.

If HSBC is a well-known bank, Apetiz is not. It is in fact a dematerialized card service for restaurant tickets.

For our part, some members of the editorial staff are at HSBC, but we didn't want to wait and we tried N26 which totally appealed to us for paying with Apple Pay, among other things.
