The Apple Pencil could play the role of an eyedropper… in real life!

For graphic designers, find a color from a real environmentto use it in software is sometimes difficult. Indeed, depending on the brightness or the time frame, the details can change and faithfully reproducing what we see can become a real challenge. But Apple seems to have found THE ideal solution.

It would simply be a matter of integrating acolor sensor with flash at the end of the Apple Pencil, its stylus particularly optimized to work with an iPad especially sincethe release of the latest version of the operating system installed on the tablet. Users would then just have to point the accessory towards the object of their choice to obtain the hexadecimal code for the desired shade.

Multiple applications

Among the potential adopters of this technology, we would find bothphotographerswho would, for example, need to find the color of a flower if the weather does not permit it, or even interior designers wishing to know the paint used to decorate this or that wall.

This information comes from abrevet, there is no official indication that this tool will be commercialized soon. However, it is very likely that the price of the Pencil, maybe soon available in black, or enhanced if this is the case.
