Apple would consider developing new services assures Gurman

It's not the best-known app in Europe, butinstacartmade a real hit on the other side of the Atlantic. Very popular with Uncle Sam, this application allows you to do “extra shopping” in just a few clicks. Like Gorillas, which promises groceries delivered in just a few minutes, Instacart is the app of the moment on the American side.

But while the development of this application should not concern Apple, the Cupertino company would have followed this news closely, and for good reason, Apple would have considered founding a service of this type as well. At least this is the information that Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman has just given in the latest edition of his Power On newsletter.

This Apple brand specialist is the first to talk about a service of this kind. If we know that Apple is increasingly developing this branch of its business, the recent arrival of Apple Fitness+ or evend’Apple Arcadeare proof, the apple brand has not yet launched anything as ambitious.

Apple deliveries are not for now

Despite the ambitions of Apple's thinking heads, this project remains a distant idea and there is little chance that we will see it make its way to the App Store. Indeed, Gurman explains that this new service is not Apple's priority and that the Cupertino company is focusing onan “iPhone rental” offerwhich could happen in the coming months.

Apple is also working on developing a new feature within its Apple Pay tool. The latter should allow you to purchase a product directly and obtain credit from Apple, paying for it later. A “pay later” solution that is also very popular in the United States.
