on Apple Italy for tax evasion. The company was accused of hiding
part of its sales in Italy, for an amount estimated at880
million euros.
Apple is not the only big company in the government's crosshairs

large firms to recover the taxes they must pay based on
sales made in Italy.
The objective of this campaign is to replenish the coffers of the Italian state
who are in lean times.
Apple has always denied tax evasion, and recently Tim Cook

that it was “political bullshit”.
In the meantime, we are still awaiting the official verdict from the authorities of the
European Commission on Apple's "alleged" tax evasion
through its Irish subsidiary.
