During the first half of 2020, the Apple Watch would have represented no less than51,4%of all smartwatches sold worldwide. This is more than last year's 43.2%, and particularly significant since it accounts for more than half of the overall volume. For comparison,Samsungwould have only managed to reach 7.2% over the last six months, much less than the 9.2% in 2019.
Among the players who would also benefit from considerable growth, we find Garmin (+0.5%), Huawei (+2.8%) and Amazfit (+0.4%). However, we note that Fossil andFitbit-the latter having been bought by Google not long ago- would experience small declines. Moreover, the rest of the manufacturers also went from 19.8% to 11.8%.
