Review of the Calypso leather case for iPhone 4 / 4S: a high-end case for the iPhone?

While we were able to offer younumerous tests
case-type protections for the iPhone, we had not yet had

we will note the only defect (which we barely notice but we talk about it because it

entry-level) namely the presence of some traces of this black coating
on the top of the cream-colored leather. It's a bit of a shame, but it seems that these
Residual traces fade over time. in addition, the brand new
summer 2012 range has, according to the photos, a coating matching the color of the
leather, so the problem should no longer occur.

Color wise, this one is cream on the outside and black on the inside. THE
interior coating is a kind of velvet which accommodates the iPhone without any
risk of scratches.

There are four models in various colors in this range (the one tested does not
seems no longer available following the release today of the 'summer collection
2012'), as well as four in another series or theperimeter is in

The weight is around thirty grams, it's very reasonable!

Utilisation

Now that we have observed the case from all angles, it is time
to use it. For this no need for instructions (even if a picture is
included in the box), simply slide the iPhone into the case.

As expected, the case is perfectly adjusted in thickness and width.
Thus, the iPhone slips in without needing to force but nevertheless,
it does not slip if you turn it over. This is very important in this type of case
to avoid the risk of the iPhone falling accidentally when tilting
the whole.

The cutout at the top allows you to grip the machine between your fingers and
take it out without any difficulty.

Note the absence of holes on the lower part which would prevent the
sound was muffled, but not sure that this would have had the most beautiful effect. We
therefore make sure to put the sound high enough so as not to miss a call, we lose
indeed a little in power but it is not major.

Conclusion

The case really keeps what it promises: quality of materials, precision
assembly and above all perfect fit make it an elegant and
practical.

We appreciate itslightnessbut also the
rigiditywhich should guarantee very good performance in the
time. The fact remains that this is not a product for all budgets,
since it is necessary to plan99 eurosfor the model we saw
or 89 euros for the one who offers the leather tour. The price of the top of
