CES 2020: JBL announces new AirPlay 2 compatible speakers

Currently being held in Las Vegas theConsumer Electronics Show. The annual show welcomes many companies designing audio equipment each year, such as Technics or Samsung. JBL, one of their competitors which stands out for the popularity of its portable models, is taking the opportunity to test its new products for the first time.

TheBar 9.1will be sold for around 1,000 euros next spring. Its technical characteristics are ideal for setting up a home cinema in your living room, especially when you know that a remote control is supplied with the system. But for those using iOS, control will be even easier thanks to AirPlay.

JBL's latest installation consists of a largesound bar, accompanied by a subwoofer and two other small battery-operated speakers. We can also count on Dolby Atmos technology, for a total power of 820 watts.

In addition to the version ofAirPlaythe most recent allowing Macs andiPhoneto stream music wirelessly, the speaker can also be synchronized with Google Chromecast. Obviously, Bluetooth is included to allow everyone to connect to the Bar 9.1.

On the other hand, no voice assistant in the program: we will therefore have to do withoutSiri.JBLhas also not specified whether it will be possible to use a jack cable, but given the size of the device it is assumed that this will be the case and that other ports will also be integrated to connect different sources.
