Apple results for the 3rd quarter of 2012, 200 million iPhones, iPads and iPod touches sold over one year

third quarter of the year.

A quarter which saw a 25% increase in profits and the sale of
26,9 millions d’iPhone, 14 million iPads and 4.9 million
Mac. In total,over one year, Apple marketed200
millions d’iPhone, iPad et iPod touch, displaying a
year-over-year iPhone sales growth of 58%in a
smartphone market which grew by 45%.

Here are the main figures to remember regarding the variation in
profits but also sales:

Profit for the quarter was $8.2 billion, compared to
6.6 billion last year over the same period.

• iPhone: 26.9 million iPhones have found buyers,
  i.e. sales growth of58% year over year
  over a comparable period. We note that theiPhone 5 only arrived at the end of
  quarterand with supply constraints, its impact will be without
  more measurable doubt about the figures for the next quarter. Nevertheless, the year
  last there was no new iPhone in the third quarter, the iPhone 4S

• Mac: Apple sold 4.9 million Macs this quarter,
  growth of only 1% compared to last year but an absolute record
