Cirrus Logic,
specialist in audio chips and also supplier for Apple has announced the arrival
upcoming development kit for manufacturers allowing
transform headphones with a Jack plug into headphones with a Lightning plug, and this
easily using a circuit to be integrated into a box like that of the
remote control usually found on the connecting cable. This kit will be
made available to accessory developers registered on the
Apple MFi (Made For i-device) program. Would the Jack plug be pushed towards
the exit?
In any case, this is what the arrival of this development kit suggests
since it clearly allows us to respond to the disappearance of the headphone jack. THE
kit in question contains printed circuit references, with
analog-to-digital audio converter (DAC) and microphone input, but also
a 3.5mm jack for testing.
The announcement of this kit by Cirrus Logic therefore supports thelatest
rumorsaccording to which the next iPhone 7 which should arrive in
Next September may no longer have a Jack socket.
We have recently seenphotos
of EarPods Lighning arrive on Weibo, the Chinese social network, while
that it was also a question of a possibleadapter
Lightning-Jackwhich could be delivered with the iPhone so that
Headphone users with a jack socket can still enjoy it with the
new iPhone, if the latter no longer offers this socket
Jack.
But you will have to be patient, the definitive answer to all these
uncertainties will only be given in September, during the presentation
official new phone.
