How to measure a person's height with iPhone or iPad?

To measure the approximate height of a person, here is the procedure to follow:

  1. download the Measurement appfrom the App Store, if you don't have it on your iPhone or iPad
  2. open the app and check that the unit of measurement is meters
  3. point the back camera of your iOS or iPadOS device at the target
  4. check that the subject fits into the frame from head to toe

A line will then appear on the screen, showing you the estimate calculated by the LiDAR for the desired height. The measurement also works for furniture, walls or even the garden. Keep in mind, however, that the results provided must be considered with caution: it is better to keep amargin of errorin the event of a purchase following the measure.
