iPhone 11 Pro teardown: bigger battery and mysterious connector

The iPhone 11 Pro has not escaped this. The open component operation then made it possible to realize several points concerning Apple's new terminals.

More room for the battery

Overall, both models 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max include a larger battery than the iPhone XS and XS Max. To achieve this, Apple took advantage of the absence of 3D Touch on the latest iPhones. 3D Touch requires the integration of an additional layer on the OLED panel, which has the effect of making the screen larger. Since the iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max do not have 3D Touch, their screen is thinner than that of their predecessors.
