Fossil launches its activity tracking accessories and a smartwatch

Fossil, the American manufacturer
with multiple hats of watchmaker, clothing designer and designer
of accessories, also wants its share of the watch market pie
intelligent. So here is the brand announcing the launch, in the days to
come, from anew range called Fossil Q, which brings together
3 new connected products to wear on the wrist: and
connected bracelet, a connected watch with a needle and a smartwatch.

In this Fossil Q range, we therefore have theQ Dreamer et Q
Reveler, which areconnected bracelets that allow you to
measure physical activityof the wearer as well as of him
serve new notificationsof the telephone thanks to
vibrations and LEDs. The Q Dreamer is designed for men
and the Q Reveler for women. Both are advertised at a price of
125 $, with in-store availabilitythe 25
octobernext.

The connected watch with mechanical hand, Q Grant, can
it also tracks the user's physical activity by being connected to the
smartphone. And as with bracelets, the Q Grant can notify the wearer
thanks to vibrations or light alerts. The product will cost between
175 et 195 $and will also be on sale from25
next October.

Finally, the product at the top of this Q range is the watchQ
Founder. This is a smartwatch with a round screen case
LCD and Intel chip inside. The connected watch will run on Android
Wear. Apart from the availability date,end of December 2015,
and the price,275 $, no other information on the
Founder features and functionality are not available.

These connected devices will communicate with the iPhone thanks to the new
application Fossil Q, who will propose thefollowed by
physical activity, thenotification of different
informationssuch as call entry, message reception, email,
etc., and theQ Curiosity, which is a kind ofcoach
offering weekly sporting challenges.

Fossil is not afraid of competition, especially in the face ofSamsung and its
new Gear S2and the Apple Watch, but itspositioning in
entry levelcould, perhaps, work in its favor, if the quality
is there.
