Just like last month, when we brought it to youpresented for the first time, the case is still not available, but it is possible to pre-order it. The first shipments are planned between March and May, or even longer depending on the desired model.

For a model with an azerty keyboard for example, which is still not announced on the siteClicks, no indication as to its release is given. Our colleagues at 01net report, however, that the azerty version“is planned for around April».

As the release date approaches, they were also able to try the case in preview, in several variations. Following this test, they share with us today their impressions on theBlackBerry.

Keys too small?

First, it seems that theweight distributionnot benot completely harmonious.

Indeed, the keyboard is located at the bottom, just below the screen. This part of the accessory has also been weighted to avoid an imbalance. Honestly, once in hand, you still feel a slight weight towards the rear.

However, it seems that by holding the phone firmly with both hands, this feeling of imbalance disappears. Another notable point, thetoucheswould bea tad too small.

Having been familiar with touch-tone phones, we felt a certain satisfaction when tapping on this keypad. The keys seemed perhaps a bit small to us and will probably take some time to get used to.

01net also reminds that it is possible to use certain keyboard shortcuts “thanks to a small CMD key and the space bar allows you to scroll down».
