Will M4 Macs finally have the right to a keynote?

Apple continues to sow doubt around its M4 Macs. If the devices are known in the smallest details (or almost), the Apple brand is playing on the last surprise effects at its disposal, such as the holding, or not, of a conference before the end of the month.

If the release of the three devices seems obvious, no one yet knows if Apple will organize a video conference, as usual, to present these products to the whole world, or if the Apple brand will simply publish press releases .

This practice, less common, has nevertheless been used several times by Apple in its history, notably during the release ofAirPods Max in December 2020. More recently, it was the iPad Mini 7 which was entitled to its press release on Apple's Newsroom space.

A video conference?

Despite the persistent doubts surrounding whether or not a conference will be held on the Cupertino side, the Bloomberg press agency remains faithful to its first idea. For its journalists, a conference will take place, and it will be broadcast on October 28. According to expert Mark Gurman, Apple should hold a short conference on this day of October 28, like the eventScary Fastaired last year for Halloween. At the time it had already made it possible to promote Macs.

If no one yet knows the presentation date of these computers or how they will be announced to the whole world, one thing is certain, the three Macs at the heart of this news are known at their fingertips. Apple should therefore update its MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini. They will haveall three have the right to an M4 chip, a first for a computer from the brand.
