Apple is thinking about a new connector for iPods

Until today, all iPhones and
iPad were fitted with the famous dock connector allowing both
recharge and sync your iDevice. This connector appeared
with the third generation of iPad, i.e. in 2003.

Nearly 10 years later and after being the subject of numerous rumors,
a job offer seems to confirm Apple's desire to
modify this connector, at least as far as the iPod is concerned:

job with the aim of recruiting two engineers responsible for working on the
design and development of connectors for the iPod range.

Let us remember thatTHE
parts of the supposed iPhone also have a different connector. The
question that arises is the following: is Apple thinking of equipping iPods
of a particular connector different from that of the iPhone then signing the end
uniformity of connectors?
