iOS 18.2 has been available since last December on iPhone. The lucky ones can use new Apple Intelligence features such as Image Playground and Genmoji. French consumers will have to wait until April 2025 to discover Apple Intelligence on their smartphone. By then, iOS will have welcomed new versions since Apple has just launched thesecond beta of iOS 18.3. She tells us that the apple brand is working ona new application called Invites.
Invites, a new complementary application to Calendar discovered thanks to iOS 18.3
9to5Mac discovered mentions of the Prompts app in iOS 18.3 code. The media recalls that it was already mentioned in the code of one of the betas of iOS 18.2 before disappearing. The Prompts app would be a sort of improved version of Calendar. It would also be used to organize meetings and events, but would have some additional features.
For example, for an event, Invites could show you a list of invited people whose return you are waiting for and those who have already confirmed their presence. The organization of events and meetings is what would constitute the real asset of Invites.
Additionally, the code suggests that the Prompts appwill integrate with iCloud and even have a web version on iCloud.com.We can imagine that it will support Apple Intelligence to ask the AI to complete the information on our events, but again, it is impossible to say for sure. We now have to wait for an official statement from Apple to find out what Invites has in store for us.
Let us remember that thesecond beta of iOS 18.3 also reveals that CarPlay 2.0would still be in development by the Cupertino company. Strangely, Apple still says the launch is plannedfor the end of 2024 on its official website.
