For millions of schoolchildren and students, the holidays have officially begun. The perfect opportunity to take up residence on the coast, which still has more thanthree thousand kilometers of coastlinethroughout the country but where it is sometimes difficult to connect to the web without a Wi-Fi terminal nearby. This was without counting on a massive deployment of 5G antennas from Orange, the number one operator in France.
According to the supplier, more than six hundred seaside resorts are already covered in 4G including Lacanau, Carnac, Borgo and Saint-Malo. And now, 5G is also arriving in many cities including Antibes, Cannes, Croizic and Etretat. More thanone hundred and fifty municipalitiesare apparently concerned, with a guaranteed flow “without slowdowns” by the firm of Christel Heydemann. To check, of course.
