And for good reason: a developer named Giulio Zompetti got his hands onsix prototypesof the Watch dating from before the officialization of the very first model. A rare collector's item, but unfortunately does not function like a new Series 5.

The computer scientist, however, intends to repair these Apple Watches, whether they are the well-worn shells or the software itself, in order to make them usable again and sell them to the highest bidder. He claims to be able to getseveral thousand dollars, which is not surprising giventhe appetite of certain collectors for these kinds of finds.
But it's not just fans of the Apple brand who could spend such sums... In fact, these devices are also adorned with a logo reminiscent ofthe black star from Star Wars, an image also previously affixed to similar iPhones before their official release.
