Now that the release of the iPhone 6s is
passed for a while and the iPad Pro no longer has any secrets, the next
device on which the rumors will focus is the iPhone 7, which is
supposed to adopt a new design, as is the case every 2 years.
A new report from TrendForce analysts suggests thatl’iPhone 7
would integrate more RAM (or RAM) and would be waterproof:
Adding RAM (from 2 GB currently to 3 GB) would allow the
next iPhone to bemore responsive, which would perhaps be
necessary to use new resource-intensive features
in a futureiOS 10.
Asdemonstrated with iPhone 6s, a large amount of RAM also allows
remember even more tabs in Safari without having to
to reload web pages.
Regarding theiPhone 7 waterproofing, it's strong
probable, because it has been proven withseveral
experienceson the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that Apple had worked to make
its iPhone resistant to immersion in water.
However, the Apple firm had not announced this characteristic of
the iPhone 6s, suggesting that it is still in the testing phase. iPhone 7
would offer a more advanced sealing system, including the Californian company
could boast of its effectiveness at the next keynote in 2016.
This report from TrendForce also refers to a possible
new 4 inch iPhonethat Apple would plan to release in the middle
of next year.
By crossing all this withother sources, this new iPhone would integrate a
A8 chip, the latest 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 and a camera
Improved FaceTimewith an aperture of ƒ/2.2. But it would not integrate
not the 3D Touch technology of the iPhone 6s.
Finally TrendForce estimates that Apple could sell no less than260
millionsof iPhones next year, an increase of 12.5%
compared to 2015, which would allow Apple to climb to 18.5% share of
smartphone market.
