New “Today at Apple” sessions combine visual arts and augmented reality

New types of exhibitions are visible in certain Apple Stores around the world, including the Marché Saint-Germain in Paris, but also in London, San Francisco, New York, Tokyo and Hong Kong.

These are artistic representations, implemented by Apple as part of its Today at Apple sessions, in collaboration with the New Museum of contemporary art in New York.

These special workshops, called [AR]T, involve augmented reality, a technology supported by Apple and Tim Cook for several years now.

Different artists exhibit their special and surprising creations, such as Nick Cave, Nathalie Djurberg, Hangs Berg, Cao Fei, Carsten Höller, Pipilotti Rist and John Giorno.

Visitors will be able to discover these works with their iPhone in participating Apple Stores, by taking a guided walk in augmented reality. A special room entirely dedicated to the work of Nick Cave will also be discovered for a unique experience.

These [AR]T sessions of the Today At Apple sessions begin today, August 10. You canfind here on the Apple website, the dates of these sessions at the Apple Store Marché Saint-Germain in Paris. Don't delay in registering, places for each session are limited and some dates are already sold out.
