It is for these purposes that we offered you a survey in recent days inviting you to indicate which model of iPhone 12 you purchased, with what finish and what storage capacity. Without further ado, here are the counts and our analyses:

Breakdowns of finish choices for the iPhone 12

For the cheapest new generation iPhone, Apple offers 5 finishes for sale: Blue, Black, Product(RED), White and Green. Here is the breakdown of votes we got for over 900 responses:

We notice a great domination of the “Blue” finish, which attracted 57% of iPhone 12 buyers. Black follows with 25% of the votes. Then, the three colors White, Green and Product(RED) share the remaining 18% almost equally.

For the iPhone successor to the 2019 11 Pro model, Apple offers 4 finishes for sale: Pacific Blue, Graphite, Gold and Silver. Here is the breakdown of votes we got for over 1,140 responses:

Here again, blue, in its “Pacific Blue” version, dominates the debates, with 63% of the votes. Graphite, a sort of new version of the old Space Gray from previous iPhones, recorded a score of 25%. Finally, Gold and Silver share the remaining 12%.

In conclusion, we can obviously see that Apple hit the mark by introducing these new blue colors, which have been a real success with you. This should certainly also translate more generally to iPhone sales, with the Blue and Pacific Blue finishes likely to be the most popular.

The iPhone 12 offers the following storage capacities: 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB. It is surprising to see Apple still offering 64 GB in 2020, we suspected that this capacity would not be the most popular of the three. And this was confirmed by the survey:

The 64 GB capacity is not the last, however. It recorded 27% of the votes, compared to 19% for the 256 GB. More than one in two buyers (54%) opted for the 128 GB capacity for their iPhone 12.

Apple, for the iPhone 12 Pro, offers twice as many GB as the iPhone 12, but the same number of possibilities: 3. You must therefore decide between 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB when purchasing. Unlike the iPhone 12, one might think that the smallest capacity would be the most popular. And this is what the results confirm.

In fact, one in three iPhone 12 Pro buyers opted for the 128 GB storage capacity. One in 4 buyers chose the 256 GB capacity. Finally, one in 10 buyers chose the 512 GB.

According to this survey, we can draw up a rough portrait of the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 that could potentially be the most successful. This is the Pro model, in Pacific Blue and with 128 GB of storage.
