Ever since we heard about it,
it's finally here and was revealed this evening during Apple's keynote.
Smaller and thinner than its predecessor, the iPad mini is therefore preparing
to invade the tablet market.
During this keynote, Mac was also discussed and in particular
of the MacBook Pro Retina, also smaller since now available in
13 inch version.
Not shy of new products Apple really spoiled us this evening. Most of
announcements and new features are already
on the Apple website.

evening:
Some figures:
A keynote wouldn't really be a keynote without its share of figures
impressive at the start of the conference. Obviously, there are sales
of the iPhone 5, but not only.
- 5 million iPhone 5s soldduring the weekend of
launch: the best-selling iPhone! - iPods are not left out either with 3 million units
sold - 200 millionsusers have already adoptediOS
6 - 125 million documents are floating around in Apple's cloud
- 300 billion iMessages have already been sent, i.e. 28,000 per
second…At iPhon.fr we are no strangers to it… 🙂 - $6.5 billion was returned to developers
iPad mini: a little thing to show us
It's now official,iPad mini is real. Il
takes the aluminum design of the back of the iPod touch and weighs a little less than
half the weight of the iPad. In terms of thickness, the iPad mini is only
7,2mm.
- The screen: as expected the iPad mini does not ship
Retina display. With a diagonal of 7.9 inches, it has the resolution of
the iPad 2 and should offer quite pleasant quality and will not require
no work to developers. Apple also placed a lot of emphasis on comfort
of use
- Photo & Video:
As expected, the iPad mini will feature a FaceTime HD camera on the front and
a 5MP iSight sensor on the back
- Connectivity: the small tablet will, like the iPad,
available in 2 WiFi or 3/4G versions. Of course, she will embark
also the Lightning port appeared with the iPhone 5
- Siri: The voice assistant is also there and
future buyers will also be able to benefit from voice guidance.
- A brand new SmartCover will be available in 5 colors, but this time
no more metal hinge

Ultimately no 8GB model, but an entry-level 16GB which will start
at $329 for the WiFi version and will be available from November 2 in
many countries including France with pre-orders from October 26 for
WiFi versions. The 4G models will arrive two weeks later.
The 4th generation iPad: an iPad 3S
We more or less expected it (in fact less) and Apple presented this evening
the4th generation iPad. Equipped with an A6X processor, the
new tablet should double graphics performance for
reach the level of the iPhone 5. It will be equipped with the Lightning and Phil port
Schiller takes the opportunity to announce new Lightning cables. First Prize
€499 for the WiFi version. Availability will be the same as that of
the iPad Mini.
While the previous version was launched last January,
the new version of Apple's reading application is already arriving
with its share of new features:
- more pages to turn with continuous reading

Apple also took advantage of the conference to present the latest update
update of iBook Author which should allow you to create even more ebooks
easily
Mac side
After having stated some figures relating the satisfaction of
Mac users, Tim Cook, alone on stage, suddenly revealed the
new iMacs and the 13-inch MBP Retina before handing over to Phil
Schiller.
- Macbook Pro Retina 13 inch
That's it, it's official, the 13-inch MBP is a reality. 20% thinner,
much lighter, it will obviously offer Magsafe 2, a port
Thunderbolt, an SD card reader, an HDMI output as well as a resolution
multiplied by 4 to reach 2560 x 1600!
We will also find a FaceTime HD camera, a stereo microphone and much more.
obviously the backlit keyboard and the trackpad. Inside we will find a
Core i5 or i7 processor and up to 768GB of Flash storage, 8GB of Ram and a
HD 4000 graphics card, all starting at $1,699 and available from
Today !
- Mac Mini
The most affordable Mac is also entitled to its update with more
connectivity: USB 3, HDMI, SD card and so on. Two versions are
available with different configurations. the first with a processor
i5, 4GB of RAM and 500GB of memory is available for $599, a second better
equipped and able to be used as a server will be sold for $999
- iMac
Very thin, 5mm on the corners, the new design is simply impressive
and bears little resemblance to the previous version. The screen, very thin
also must limit thinking by 75%.
Two sizes are offered as before: 21.5 and 27 inches. Here are the
