Rumor: the next iPhone equipped with a rounded “plastic” Oled screen

According tothe latest rumors, the next iPhone would be equipped with a screen
OLED with curved edges, except this one might not be glass,
but made of plastic in order to have rounded edges.

Indeed, according to Korea Herald sources, the order placed by Apple
with the Samsung screen division, concernsOLED screens in
plastic
, and not glass copies.

The site reports that usually manufacturers use glass to
flat OLED screens, while plastic allows forof the
curved OLED displays
, like that of the Galaxy 7 Edge.

Still according to the same source, Samsung would be able to provide
just under 100 million unitscurved OLED screens
to Apple for its next flagship iPhone model.

According tothe latest reports from KGI Securities, Apple would propose the year
next three models, a high-end model or "iPhone 8" with a new
design, an OLED screen and touch ID integrated under the screen, and two models
similar to the iPhone 7 with an LCD panel and which would receive an update
internal.
