If you want this iPad, you'll have to be very (very) fast

It's been a while since Apple released new iPads. But, currently, rumors are already circulating about new models that the firm could present very soon. And among the new iPads that Apple could introduce are new iPad Pros which, according to rumors, could use an OLED screen. In any case, if you're going to buy an 11-inch OLED iPad, a new source suggests you'll need to be very quick.

In an article published this week, the site 9to5Mac relays a publication by analyst Ross Young who mentions a risk of stock shortages at launch. Compared to the 12.9 inch model, the 11 inch model of theiPad Pro OLEDmay have limited availability, pending a solution to this supply problem with its suppliers.

Launch in March or April?

At the moment, it is not known exactly when Apple will launch its new iPads. But, a few days ago, the journalistMark Gurman, from Bloomberg, reported that after unveiling new MacBooks, Apple is expected to launch its new iPads. And this launch could take place towards the end of March, or in April.

The models mentioned are the new iPad Pro, the new iPad Air (including a 12.9-inch version), a new Magic Keyboard, as well as a new Apple Pencil. But, as usual, this information should be considered with caution, since it does not come from an official source. In any case, it's really time for Apple to bring some new features to its iPad range. Once the new iPads are released, it will be easy to assess their availability in stock, by analyzing the delivery times displayed on the Apple website.

Otherwise, this new generation of iPad will be very important, because it will be the first Apple tablets released after the Vision Pro. If the latter does not threaten the iPhone, it could, however, affect iPad sales in the long term. In fact, a person who already owns a Vision Pro for entertainment at home, and for basic office tasks, or for videoconferencing, at home or in the office, no longer needs to buy an iPad for these uses.
