Apple has just presented the first trailer for the new season of its event series “Silo” on Apple TV+. After the critical and public success of “Silo” it is not surprising to see the series return to the forefront this fall with a second season.
This new season should beginNovember 15th,in a month to the day. When it was released in 2023, Silo was a real success for Apple, beatingall popularity recordson the Apple brand platform.
As a reminder,the original series “Silo”,offered by Apple TV+ is based on the dystopian “Wool” novels by Hugh Howey. The series focuses on the lives of the last ten thousand people on Earth. They all live in underground silos designed to protect them from the outside world.
According to the first images offered by Apple, the second season should follow the story of Juliette, played by Rebecca Ferguson. This engineer, already present in the first season, is determined to discover “dark secrets” about life inside the silo, after the death of one of her family.
The return of the series also marks that of actors Tim Robbins and Harriet Walter. Steve Zahn should join him during the season, without his role having yet been presented by Apple.
The second season of Silo is set to premiere on November 15. Apple is expected to release a new episode every Friday. Episode number 10, which will be the last of this second chapter, will be posted online on January 17 on Apple TV+.
