For example, level 1 of this scale is that of talc, which is easy to penetrate. But the highest level, 10, is diamond, which can only be scratched by another diamond.
A perfect watch for extreme sports
To really damage the screen of the Apple Watch Ultra, you must use a mine oflevel 8. At level 6, damage remains minor and should not interfere with daily use. For comparison, dental enamel, already relatively strong, has a hardness of level 5. And in the case of a traditional glass pane, the hardness reaches level 5.5. We can therefore say thatthe Watch Ultra sticks to its selling points, thanks to a rather robust display.
This is therefore particularly intended for sliding activities such as snowboarding or skiing, which will be able to use the Apple Watch Ultra without having to break the slab during a fall at a certain speed (the accessory is alsowater resistant). The images shared so far by the manufacturer also show the connected watch during off-road cycling sessions, which makes sense also given its ability to prevent dust from entering the case.
