Here's a little tip that we haven't heard much about yet:
the possibility ofquickly send an SMS when you decline a
appel.
Who has never received a call during a meeting without being able to answer and
without being able to take out your iPhone long enough to write an SMS?
Here the iPhone 4 allows you to use different pre-programmed messages to
send with a single finger.
When someone calls you, if you decline the call by pressing two
time on the On/Off button of your iPhone 4, here is the screen which
will appear:
Choose your message and it will be sent directly to the person
who has tried to contact you. They all appear in the same form
know :Thank you for your call, I cannot answer you for the
moment. …
- …I will call you back as soon as possible
- …Please contact me later
- …Please text me
- …I will remind you init's up to you to inform how many
temps 🙂
You also have the possibility of modifying or evencreate your
own messagesvia the menuConfigure
You would think that this feature arrived with iOS 4, but
after testing on a 3GS under iOS 4, it seems that it is reserved for
iPhone 4 …
EDIT: it seems that some of
you, not all :-), already have this "discreet response" function. That
therefore does not seem to come from either the firmware or the phone :)
