This version is availableuniquelyto the members of the
programme(paid)iOS
Dev Center.
It is compatible with both theiPad,
l’iPhone(3GS and 4), l’iPod
Touch(3rd and 4th generation), l’Apple TV
2G.
Even if we can see that theiPhone 3Gand the
iPod Touch1st and 2nd generation are not entitled to this
beta, remember that this is a version fordeveloperset
that we will have to wait forversion finaleto find out more at
this subject.
Now let's see thenoveltiesbrought with this
beta.
– This version provides better support for
videowithAirPlay(management of
H.264, ofHTTP streaming, contents
stored locally, andprogressive download). There exists
besides a version forApple TVso that the
developers can do tests.
- Even ifAppledoes not specify it, this version includes
also the modehotspotallowing you to share the
connexionof theiPhonewith others
devices. It remains to be seen what offers the operators will make, the function
not beingnot activatedby default.
–Appleopen the door wideiAd
since advertisements can now be displayed on the
totalityof thescreen.
– Highlighting the option “Location service" In
THESettingsby making it appear just below the
notifications.
– New preference regarding the management ofSMS alerts
with now the possibility of being notified
1,2,3,5or
10times.
–Pinghas been added to the list of
settingsin theParental Control.
– New icon forFaceTime, who could

According toiSpace, some files show the presence
video effects not activated at the moment.
Regarding theiPad, ofnew gestureswith
fouretfivefingers appear.
