One of the great novelties of the year
last was the fingerprint reader, theTouch IDwhich today remains the exclusivity of theiPhone 5s.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, generally very reliable, confirms what we
could strongly suspect, that is to say thegeneralization of Touch ID
to the rest of the range which will be released in 2014:
So, let it beiPhone 6in 4.7 inches or
5.5 inches, even if the latter still remains hypothetical, passing by
the iPad Air 2 or the iPad mini Retina 2, all these new models which will be released
in 2014 will integrate the fingerprint readerTouch
ID.
The analyst even estimates that with this generalization, production should
naturally experience very big growth, going from 36 million in
2013 to 120 million in 2014 (+ 233%) and to 233 million in 2015 (+ 94%).
The analyst takes the opportunity to suggest that Apple will partially modify the
production of the module using tin in order to improve the durability of
the whole.
On the other hand, we note the absence of the iPod Touch. Should we see it as a no
renewal of the terminal or just a small change for 2014? He
