Apple is reportedly working to make its iPhone thinner

Always finer,it's a bit like the watchword of the manufacturers
of smartphones at the moment. However, the puzzle becomes more and more
complicated, because we have to fit inside our smartphones, the
battery as well as other components necessary for proper
functioning.

Rather than looking only at the internal components, it seems
that Apple is also eyeingthe “in cell” technology that we
we mentioned in this post
. This should contribute toallow
to reduce the thickness of our iPhones by 15%
. Demonstration:

It may not seem like much, but this new screen technology
could help make our iPhones thinner by more than a millimeter
from the current 9.3mm for an iPhone 4S to less than 8mm.

The screen itself would save the iPhone half a millimeter. He doesn't
would not be the only one to undergo a weight loss treatment.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo,Apple could also work on
thin the battery
by widening it a little so that it can be
make it 10% thinner. The gain would then be of the order of 0.5mm.

Finally, the last point which could help refine the silhouette of
the iPhone would bethe use of
liquid metal we talked about here
. This metal would then be
less thick than the current glass plate and would still save 0.5mm.

Globally,it is a thickness of approximately 1.5mm which could
disappear
as shown in the illustration above.

Do you expect more finesse from the next iPhone model?
