Apple is reportedly preparing an overhaul of iTunes and the App Store

This makes
It's been three years since iTunes existed as we know it today,
highlighting music management as much as downloading
albums, films, books or applications. And
according to 9to5Mac
, it seems that Apple is ready to overhaul its flagship software
from top to bottom as well as the App Store. It must be said that the competition is
more and more present, even if iTunes remains the number 1 software concerning its
two main activities: music and legal downloading of
dematerialized content.

Between the Amazon store, with its growing popularity in the USA, and the arrival
recent release of the excellent Spotify on Uncle Sam's territory, iTunes has face
to him other software/interfaces offering their lots of ideas and
of innovations. Apple's goal would be to overhaul iTunes to make it much
more interactive, whether within a platform or across platforms
(PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc.). Thus it would notably be much more
easy to find new apps on the App Store, which is not
quite its strong point today if we except the emphasis by
Apple and the best seller rankings. We can already imagine a
classification by categories opening up more possibilities and above all
affinity searches. Or even better.

This new version of iTunes, 10.X or 11, should arrive in 2012
on all platforms. More info soon!

And you, what improvements would you like to see applied to the App Store
?
