Apple reportedly tested “synthetic Sapphire crystal” glass for its screens

Since the iPhone 5, Apple has used synthetic Sapphire crystal for the
protection of the APN lens.

Since then, we have discussed a rumor concerning theHome button of the future iPhone 5S which could
become tactile in order to integrate the fingerprint sensor and would be
precisely protected by a layer of 'Sapphire' glass
.

We even saw that
Gorilla, to whom we owe the windows used on the iPhone and
iPad, sought to convince that its windows are more resistant than those in
sapphire
.

Well

according to Perry Oosting, CEO of Vertu, the British company producing the
famous luxury phones, Apple would haveexperienced screens in
sapphire but the experience would not have been conclusive
.

In fact, the materialis expensive to produceand he would be
very difficult to produce in large quantities, conditions
crippling for Apple which sells its products by the millions.

So, we should have a Gorilla glass screen again on the
Apple's next terminals

Response in a few months with the announcement ofiPhone 5S.
