Facebook has just announced the arrival
imminent from its App Center. The principle is simple. In exchange for integration
identification by Facebook in the application, the social network offers
developers a new way to highlight their
applications.
This App Center will be available on the web, on Android and on iOS.
Let’s find out a little more:
The App Center will be an integral part of the iOS application and will return the
users to the App Store where they can, as usual, download
the application that interests them. Facebook does not plan to compete with
Apple or Google but wants to offer a new showcase for applications
quality.
What is new, and particularly interesting, is that Facebook will
implement a star-based ranking. This will collect
data on how users use the application
(opening frequency, time spent in the app, age group, etc.) and will be,
therefore thinner than that of the App Store. Developers will therefore have
more info on how to improve their apps.
