Towards a launch of Apple's streaming service for this summer?

This has been a recurring rumor for several months. Apple would like to get started
in a servicestreamingmusical ‘iRadio" like Spotify or Deezer.

Of course, to launch such a service, you must first pass a
certain number of agreements with the majors on licenses and the cost of
these.

If we are to believe our colleagues at The Verge, things are progressing well
since two majors have already signed.

Of the three majors with which Apple must agree on
licenses and on the cost of a streaming service, two have already signed
with Apple.

Indeed,Universal Music GroupetWarner Music
Group
withwould be agreedon prices
that Apple would like much lower.

We're talking about half as much as Pandora and six times less than Spotify.

For now,Sony Music Entertainmentstill doing
resistance but Apple is hopeful of launching its streaming service for this
summer, perhaps on the occasion of the keynote which would present the newiPhone 5S.

So to be continued.
