The firm TF International Securities, known through Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the best-known analysts in the Apple world, has published a new report for investors.
According to the paper, Apple is working on a third generation of AirPods. This could appear during the first half of 2021.
Special feature of this new iteration, the design would change. The AirPods 3 could indeed, as the source announces, come closer to the design of the AirPods Pro.
This isn't the first time we've heard about a new pair of AirPods headphones. Several rumors have already announced that a new version of AirPods was being prepared in Apple's laboratories, with the possible arrival of new features, such ashealth sensors and ambient light sensors.
In the meantime, the Californian firm should release aheadphones. The latter could even be seen tonightduring the WWDC conference to follow here with uss.
Still, it would seem surprising that AirPods 3 would display the same design as the AirPods Pro. The latter stand out from non-Pro headphones precisely because of this in-ear format, which may not please everyone. This is also why the fact of displaying in the catalog, both in-ear AirPods, and AirPods in classic format, is relevant in my opinion.
But we can obviously also see the AirPods Pro evolve by 2021, towards another format, to leave the in-ear design to the classic AirPods.
