for the American market, but in November the Cupertino company took over
decision topush it back
launchat an undetermined date in early 2018.
And according to a new report published by the firm Canalys, 2018 is coming
as a decisive year for the connected speaker market with
sales forecasts of the order of56.3 million units
compared to 30 million in 2017, but especially for the American market.

The firm predicts that Amazon and Google will remain the two main leaders
of this new market with their respective products, however the HomePod

Generally Apple launches into a market when the Cupertino company feels
among other things that there is potential for mass adoption as has been
the case for the smartphone and the tablet.
Canalys observed aadoption on the risethroughout
the year 2017 thanks in particular to software and hardware improvements
made to connected speakers, as well as partnerships such as that of
Microsoft et Amazon.
In the meantime, eyes are on the next expected entrant of this
market which is the Apple enclosure, which allows you to use commands
voice commands via Siri to control HomeKit compatible devices,
however it is positioned as offering better sound quality than
