we were impatiently awaiting the release of a Nike application presented during
the keynote last September.
It is now available.
Here are some screens (during the US release) and the principle of its
operation as well as a first opinion compared to other apps
available:
From the launch, there are no photos, the design is clean, professional and a tone
above other available apps.
A tutorial allows you to discover how the application works, in
some screens:
- Daily monitoring is evaluated by an activity graph, plus the curve
takes on a green color, the better, red on the other hand indicates a lack
of activity
- the distinction between different types of activity (walking, running,
other) is thinner than in most apps seen so far
- Magic of the M7 chip, it stores a week of information... So from
installation, there is data for past days, quite nice not to
not starting from scratch and already being able to compare to previous days.
Different graphics are offered:the “NikeFuels” of
jour(the aggregated measurement of activity Nike version, display
dynamic moving very pretty), thedaily distribution of this
activity, the place where we had the activities (practical for the race)
and the sliding trend day by day with the average
In the end, the app appears very complete, it uses the Nike account of
other applications so if you already use them, nothing more to do than
enter login/pass. It also allows you to use your Facebook login if you
wishes. Corollary, it is possible to share your data with friends
to invite from the application.
For what little we have been able to try, it seems justmiss access
to precise data from past days, but otherwise as expected,
the iPhone 5s actually turns intosound tracking tool
complete activity, like the bracelets we wear at home
wrist. Except that here, it is the iPhone that must be kept on as much as possible
soi.
