Apple will soon officially sell its iPhone, Watch and recent products on Amazon

Amazon and Apple recently struck a dealwhich should allow the first to take control of the sales of many apple products. This has several major implications. On the one hand, new iPhone, iPad or even Apple Watch willeasilybe on the shelves at the online sales giant. On the other hand, this will strongly limit the resale on Amazon of Apple products by independent resellers andthe appearance of good deals:

Specifically, according to the agreement, independent sellers using the Marketplace will have to remove Apple products from their shelves by January 4, 2019. To continue selling iPad, iPhone and other Appe Watches, they will have to go through a certification procedure. This will offer them the official Apple reseller label.

In addition to these official sellers, the Amazon company will itself offer such products on its shelves. However, not all Apple devices will benot concerned. Amazon will not sell theHomePod,For example. This is in fact in direct competition with Amazon Echo products.

The Apple TV should alsoremain absent subscribers. The two American giants have been in a long-standing conflict over the sale of this product specifically.

This is also why this partnership is of capital importance, for both companies.

This is also a notable change for customers and those accustomed to the Amazon platform. In a few months, they will be able to find iPad Pro from 2018, iPhone XR, iPhone XS and XS Max, but also Apple Watch Series 4, Mac mini 2018 as well as Beats headphones and earphones.

There is a definite advantage to this alliance for the buyer. It will be easier to find official Apple products on Amazon, especially accessories, which are affected by the counterfeiting problem.

Unfortunately, good deals are likely to become rarer. We should no longer be entitled too often toCheaper iPhone XS, of theiPhone X cheaperor evenCheaper AirPods, as we regularly note in our articles onevening specials.

Do you think this Apple/Amazon merger is good news?
