A Beats app is notably included on Google's mobile system to manage the headphones from the smartphone. On iOS, Beats Studio Buds can be used natively, without a dedicated application.

Buds Studios cost149,95 €, they are available in red, black and white. They should beavailable this summer according to Appleand from June 24 according to different American sources.

Less or worse than AirPods?

Déjà,no Apple H1 chipon these Beats Studio Buds, nor W1 (unlike the Powerbreats Pro and Powerbeats). This means that they do not take advantage of the capabilities of AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro to minimize listening latency, to share listening or even to offer quick start-up and automatic linking with all Apple devices. the same iCloud account.

But the new Beats headphones integrate their own Beats chip which notably supports Apple Music's Spatial Audio mode, Siri commands or even the detection of a nearby iPhone for the pairing process. The “Fast Pair” pairing mode is also available, for quick connection with a Google account on an Android smartphone. The Studios Buds are also compatible with localization via Apple's Finder and with the equivalent Google system.

According to feedback from the first testers, like The Verge, the Beats Studio Buds do not compare to AirPods Pro. It's logical, the two products are not positioned in the same range.

Les Studio Budsare placed instead in front of the AirPods 2, displaying, for an almost equivalent price (€179 for the AirPods 2 versus €150 for the Beats), some features that will make the difference: IPX4 waterproofing, more colorful design, in-ear format, Android compatibility, active noise cancellation , knowing that they miss audio sharing, port detection, automatic linking of iCloud devices and changing listening sources between iPhone, iPad and Mac.
