Apple could announce this Thursday a “Garage Band” for the publication of digital manuals

indicated it here, ceThursday January 19, Apple will hold
a conference in New York which, according to rumor, will have the subject
l’educationand digital textbooks, a subject which was
heart to Steve Jobs.

As is often the case in these cases, as the fateful date approaches, the
speculations are rife and if we are to believe the information on the site
ArsTechnica,Apple is preparing to launch a publishing solution
simple for textbooks, a “textbook GarageBand”:

Currently, the many possible e-book formats complicate the task
publishers. As a result, many of them hesitate to embark on
adventure.

With Apple's strike force,it would be possible to impose a
formatand simply distribute it to as many people as possible. GOOD
obviously, a question will arise: will publishers rely on a
solution proposed by Apple, if they only affect a part, even a substantial one,
of the market.

The question of Apple's openness arises a new one
times. If Apple doesn't decide to open up a little this time,
the effect could be the opposite and the solution would then only be a fracture of
more for an already well-dispersed market.
