Apple Music was launched in June 2015. Over the months, it has quickly established itself as a heavyweight in the market, with strong growth in the number of subscribers from the start.
Today, it can boast of being in second place as the music streaming service with the most paying subscribers, behind Spotify. However, it has not always forced its development beyond the Apple ecosystem. It was only a year after its launch that Apple Music was available in an Android version.
But the Californian giant understood that to dare to titillate Spotify, it had to be deployed on a large number of devices, all manufacturers combined. So, Apple Music has now been available on Android Auto for some time. Apple even hasnot long agoagreed to collaborate with Amazon and Alexa, to make Apple Music accessible on Echo speakers.

On the other hand, what Apple Music lacked most was a web player. A web app allows you to benefit from a service from almost any internet browser, but also, and above all, from any Mac, Windows, Linux or other platform.
This gap has now been filled, with the arrival this morning of a web player for Apple Music,to be found there. The player is still in beta, but it seems to work without problems. On the other hand, it does not seem very rich in features.

And its ergonomics does not, at first glance, seem as well thought out as the Spotify web player, which is, in our opinion, one of the benchmarks in this area (along with that of Tidal). Maybe Apple will spruce up its player before the final version is released.
Notice to Apple Music subscribers, what do you think of this new web player?
