Since last year, Apple has been working with different directors and actors on films and series. This new content would likely be unveiled next year with a new TV offer from Apple.
The Apple firm moves up a gearby signing with a renowned Hollywood studio, in order to produce afilm series.
The studio in question,A24, is behind such well-known films asMoonlight(received an Oscar), Ex Machina, Room, and even The Witch. Apple signed a multi-year contract with the studio to produce several films.
This is a major step in the Apple-funded content creation project. This deal is in addition to other Apple series, around twenty, which are in production.
Many famous actors and directors have been hired by Apple for its content. We can notably mention Stephen Spielberg, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Anniston, Damien Chazelle, Night Shamalyan and many others.
