The Cupertino company has just published on its YouTube channel the trailer for one of its flagship programs “The Morning Show” with a launchfor next September 17, the arrival of the second season of the Apple Original program looks imminent.
This second season will consist of ten episodes and continues to feature Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, who are also executive producers. In the rest of the cast the series finds Steve Carell, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Bel Powley, Desean Terry, Janina Gavankar, Tom Irwin and Marcia Gay Harden.
When it was launched, Apple TV+ extensively promoted “The Morning Show,” one of Apple’s flagship programs which was produced exclusively for the Cupertino company’s platform.
The latter brings a lot of hope for the second season of this series, while Apple's streaming platform is struggling to find new subscribers. far behind its competitors like Netflix Amazon Prime or Disney+,Apple TV+ currently represents only 3% of the global streaming market, an admission of failure for the moment for Apple.
The first season of “The Morning Show” attracted many curious people. Launched at the same time as the streaming platform itself, the series had been viewed millions of times, largely by non-paying subscribers who then benefited from a free trial period. The big challenge for this second season will be to succeed in generating enough interest for subscribers to stay and pay Apple to watch the series.
