Apple has just published, like every year, its list of the most interesting third-party applications for users. In this major competition, the Apple brand highlights applications which have experienced great growth in 2023. In all, more than 40 applications have been selected by Apple's editorial teams.
The Cupertino company has thus reduced the list to only three applications for the title of “application of the year”. The competition will therefore be tight between Duolingo, the interactive foreign language learning application, Flighty, which helps passengers in airports and Alltrails which allows travelers to find their way around the world.
In addition to these three applications which are aiming for the title of application of the year, the apple brand has awarded several applications for different categories. So the gamesAfterplace,Honkai: Star Rail,Vampire Survivorsare all three nominated by Apple teams for the title of game of the year.
The perfect app for iPad ?
On the tablet side, Apple also selected three applications for the title of iPad app of the year. This year, Concepts, DaVinci Resolve and Prêt-à-Makeup are in competition. These applications, which allow users to draw, makevideo editingor to help makeup enthusiasts get an overview of their creation.
On iPad too, Apple has selected three games for the mobile game of the year title. These are the applications Eggy Party, Lost in Play, and Pocket City 2 which were selected by Apple's editorial teams.
