Apple is expected to present a new version of its Apple Watch Ultra on the occasion of WWDC at the beginning of June. The Cupertino firm should launch its high -end connected watch for the third time, with new features. Among the changes expected for this year, Apple should notably add a sensor in charge of detecting hypertension.
According to information from the journalist of the Bloomberg news agency, Mark Gurman, Apple should add this sensor to his watch. Technically, he would not be able to take a precise measurement of the tension, but rather to detect a disturbing increase in the latter.
A brighter, connected and fast watch
Apple should also update its watch from a material point of view. The Cupertino firm would have designed a brand new chip, called "S11" specially for this model. Other rumors suggest that Apple will reuse the Apple Watch Series 10 chip.
Regarding the Apple Watch Ultra screen, Apple should still see big things. If Apple's connected watch is already one of the best in the world in this area, it could still evolve. The apple brand has offered LTPO3 technology to the Apple Watch Series 10, it would be more than logical to see this advance arriving on the Apple Watch Ultra 3.
The watch should also benefit from another feature, with an Oled Grand-Angle, to improve brightness from all angles of view. Finally, connectivity should be reviewed by Apple. If it is not lacking in the watch, it could still be improved.
Here it is a question of making the watch compatible with satellite connectivity and 5G. The arrival of these two technologies would allow Apple to compete with brands and references of extreme sports in the great outdoors like Garmin. The last change expected on this watch is the arrival of a metal back, to improve conductivity during the load.
