Currently, Lightning cables
labeled “Made for iPhone” i.e. officially certified by Apple are
still few on the market. Worse still, they are relatively
expensive.
The user can then choose to turn to cables much
cheaper, but again the solution is not ideal. Indeed, many
these cables do not work and even if they do not, the risk of them
see rendered unusable by a future iOS update is indeed
real.
Therefore, whenAmazon begins to offer
an official Lightning cableand above all cheaper, it is
note:
Sold, of course
on the Amazon website, the cable with a length of90
centimeters
is displayed here at €14.99.
Even if it is functional and allows charging and synchronization, the
first comments seem to say thatthe Lightning jack is more
thicker than Apple'swhich may cause some
inconvenience with the most fitted protections.
For information,
Apple's Lightning cable is sold on the Apple Store at
19€
Not a huge price difference in the end unfortunately, this could
explained by the cost for the manufacturer who participates in the "Made for
iPhone". Will we see it official and therefore cheaper? Not sure
